What is "PBS?"
PBS stands for "Positve Behavior Support." This program,which is used parish-wide, has incorporated 4 expectations for students to adhere to, in order to create a postive learning environment. The 4 expectations are that students will be "postive, safe, responsible, and respectful." Please see below what these expectations "look like" in different areas of the campus.

What is Bullying?
Bullying is a form of aggression, and it occurs when a person willfully subjects another person (victim) to an intentional, unwanted and unprovoked hurtful verbal and/or physical action at any school site or school-sponsored activity or event. Bullying may also occur as various forms of hazing, including initiation rites perpetrated against a studemt or member of a team. Examples of types of bullying might inlcude, but are not limited to: Punching, shoving, poking, strangling, hair-pulling, beating, teasing, kicking, punching, or excessive tickling.

Consequences of Bullying
Bullying should be reported to the teacher, who will document and present consequence. If the offense is ongoing, the incident will be referred to the office. Additional information can be foung in the handbook. |
